    How it works
    At Tipton, an eye exam is a full assessment of how your eyes actually work: refraction, retinal imaging, corneal mapping and 3D centration, run on our own Zeiss equipment by an in-house optometrist. It's the reason our glasses fit the way they do — and, as preventive healthcare, it's often the first place a patient learns their eyes are flagging diabetes, high blood pressure or early glaucoma. Available every week to make you see better, in English and Hungarian, at no language surcharge.

    Choose your exam and book a same-week slot online — a confirmation and reminder arrive by email, in your language.
    02. Your Zeiss assessment
    An in-house optometrist maps your eyes on our Zeiss suite and explains exactly what they find, in person and in plain language.
    03. Choose your frames
    Try on Vinylize, Masunaga and more, and pick the frame you love — then, if you'd like lenses, we cut your Zeiss lenses to your prescription.

    The digital refraction unit that measures your exact prescription — precise and comfortable, without the guesswork of flipped lenses.

    A digitally controlled screen that displays measurable data without wearing out. 
    Visufit 1000
    Builds a digital 3D model of your face to position each lens exactly, and powers a true-to-life virtual try-on of your frames.
    Visuscout 100
    High-resolution imaging of the retina to detect and monitor changes early — including the first signs of diabetes and high blood pressure.

    Wavefront measurement and corneal topography together, mapping the fine optical detail of each eye for a complete refractive profile.
    SL 115 Classic

    A high-contrast slit lamp for a close, detailed look at the front of the eye, from broad overview down to the finest structures.
    Frame Warmer
    The adjustable heat setting and dual air exhaust delivers hot air to areas of the frame to ensure that they can be properly adjusted. 
    Visulens 550
    A device capable of precisely measuring monocular and bifocular prescriptions on any eyewear.
    HFA 3
