At Tipton, an eye exam is a full assessment of how your eyes actually work: refraction, retinal imaging, corneal mapping, dioptre measurement, a binocular vision check (prism dioptre) and 3D centration, run on our own Zeiss equipment by an in-house optometrist. It's the reason our glasses fit the way they do — and, as preventive healthcare, it's often the first place a patient learns their eyes are flagging diabetes, high blood pressure or early glaucoma. Available every week, in English and Hungarian, at no language surcharge.

Our Deluxe and Premium exams add Zeiss retinal imaging without dilation, so we can spot early signs of diabetes or high blood pressure. A diagnosis comes from an ophthalmologist: if we see anything concerning, we tell you where to go.
With sudden vision loss, flashes or floaters, a painful or red eye, or after an eye injury, don't book an appointment with us and don't wait for it to pass on its own: see an ophthalmologist or go to emergency care right away.
Most opticians measure your sight with a single, quick, manual test. We map the whole eye: a full Zeiss diagnostic suite measures your refraction, your retina and your cornea, and carries out the centration.
